Build The Systems People Rely On When The Grid Can't

We're a Key Biscayne-based resilience infrastructure company engineering containerized water and power systems from the ground up. If you want to own real hardware — from first sketch to a working unit in the field — we want to talk.

We hire people who want to build systems that hold up when it matters and stay to see them running in the field, from resort docks to disaster zones.

Own It End To End

Build the whole unit. From first concept to commissioning, you own real hardware that ships and runs where it's needed most.

[02]

Engineered For The Point Of Need

Design, fabrication, and deployment under one roof. Short loops between the bench and the field turn ideas into working systems fast.

[03]

Hard Problems, Real Stakes

Water output measured in gallons per day, uptime measured in storm seasons. The work is demanding, and it matters the moment it leaves the shop.

[04]

Grow With The Mission

Our systems scale from a single portable kit to a full containerized deployment. Team members move across disciplines — mechanical, electrical, water treatment, field operations — and take on more as we grow.

We're a small, hands-on team building Trident — our line of containerized water and power systems — for Caribbean hospitality, coastal municipalities, disaster response, and NGOs. Everyone here works close to the hardware.

One Team

Internships

Build resilience infrastructure alongside our engineering team.

Blue Currents offers internships for students and early-career engineers interested in off-grid water and power systems, sustainable infrastructure, and hands-on hardware development. Interns work directly with our team on real Trident builds — not busywork — with exposure to mechanical design, fabrication, solar and battery systems, water treatment, and field deployment planning.

We partner with the University of Miami and welcome applicants from other engineering, sustainability, and business programs.

What you'll get:

  • Direct mentorship from our engineering and leadership team

  • Hands-on work on active Trident 1, Trident Go, and Trident Wells projects

  • Exposure to the full lifecycle of resilience infrastructure — from design through deployment

  • The chance to see your work matter in real communities
